“Strive to be first: first to nod, first to smile, first to compliment, and first to forgive.”
Belinda graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Sociology (focus on Stratification and Inequality) and a minor in the Afro & African American Studies Program. Following graduation, Belinda worked for Citicorp NA in Chicago. Returning to the Bay Area, she found a home in Silicon Valley’s world of internet marketing filling a range of roles based across the corporate and client needs. Focusing on advertising sales operational and account management roles, Belinda built operational infrastructure and grew a several support teams to handle increased client/revenue growth. Managing operations, compliance and customer service processes and teams, she also worked in a client services role, defining and implementing marketing strategy, and project managed all client campaigns from implementation through customer acquisition.
Relocating to Atlanta, GA in 2007 and she joined her long-time friend Chris, moving the college game of “what if…” into the realm of the possible and plausible. With the freedom to execute the dreams, thoughts and hopes wished for 20 years ago, working for the Chris Draft Family Foundation is a return to that safe nurturing place that Stanford created in our souls. The Foundation family reminds me every single day why I went to Stanford in the first place – to seek out others who are driven to change the world for the better.
Belinda is married to Ronald and their children, McKenna Marie and Theodore Christopher, live in Roswell, GA.
