Veteran NFL Linebacker Chris Draft Visits Brooklyn Children's Museum

W.O.R.D. Up! Presents Veteran NFL Linebacker Chris Draft Reading his new Children’s Book Do You Want to Play Catch?

Featuring live book signing, photo opp and meet-and-greet!

In this new book about family, physical activity and family bonding, Chris Draft (founder of the Chris Draft Family Foundation) shares his story of how the simple game of “catch”can teach valuable lessons and build relationships.

Boasting previous readers Grammy-nominated Ky-Mani Marley (son of Reggae icon Bob Marley), Congressman Ed Towns, the one-and-only American actress Tina Louise (known for her role as “Ginger” on Gilligan’s Island) and Danny Simmons (abstract expressionist painter, poet, and creator of HBO’s groundbreaking Def Poetry), W.O.R.D. UP! presents a unique opportunity for lifelong learners to share and enjoy the power of literacy. Due to popular demand they recommend arriving early to W.O.R.D UP! as seating is on first-come, first-served basis.
