• Saint Louis University Cancer Center St. Louis, IL. Saint Louis University created a Center for Cancer Prevention, Research and Outreach to expand its scope to outreach and prevention improve the survival of St. Louis minorities – particularly African-American residents of north St. Louis City and County. As an initiative of SLU Cancer Center and School of Public Health, the virtual Center will join established advocacy organizations The Empowerment Network (TEN) and The Breakfast Club to expand screening, detection and treatment to fight cancer in members of minority groups.<more>
• Team Draft To Celebrate Co-Founder’s Birthday By Attending Live Taping Of Dancing With The Stars With 12-Year-Old Lung Cancer Survivor Team Draft will celebrate what would have been Keasha's 40th birthday by spending the evening at a live taping of Dancing With The Stars. Joined with 12-year-old lung cancer survivor Gabby Wilson, and also Keasha’s mother, Gail Rutledge.<more>
• Revlon Cancer Walk with Cancer Treatment Centers of America Los Angeles, CA. Team Draft will join over 2,500 Survivors, Caregivers and Supporters in this year’s Revlon Cancer Run/ Walk. The Cancer walk will be hosted by Halle Berry and attended by some of Hollywood’s elite. It will take place at the LA Coliseum. The Coliseum was once home to the former LA Rams as well as the former LA Raiders. <more>
• A Survivor at Every Rink -- Florida Panthers Sunrise, FL. Team Draft is excited to have survivor, James Carroll, be a part of our Survivor at Every Rink initiative with the National Hockey League (NHL) . This Thursday, James, his wife and his support team will represent Team Draft at Florida Panthers game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. <more>
• A Survivor at Every Rink: Detroit Red Wings Detroit, MI. Lung cancer survivor, Gary Chinigo will be recognized by the Detroit Red Wings during tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Kings at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Gary will be joined by his wife, Cheryl, and his Medical Oncologist Dr. Antoinette Wozniak. Team Draft would like to thank the Detroit Red Wings and Karmanos Cancer Institute for their involvement with our Survivor at Every Rink initiative with the National Hockey League(NHL). <more>
• Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, Wayne State University Detroit, MI. Team Draft will be touring the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Karmanos is based in southeast Michigan, in midtown Detroit, and is one of 41 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States. <more>
• Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care Bronx, NY. Team Draft is off to New York. We will be heading to Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care to speak with the Director of the Lung Cancer Program, Dr. Bilal Piperdi, about what Montefiore is doing to help extend lives and offer hope to patients and survivors. <more>
• Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention Harlem, NY. Team Draft is off to New York. We are very excited to sit down with the newly appointed CEO and Medical Director of the RL Center, Dr. Gina Villani. Dr. Villani, has made working in communities with “health disparities” like Harlem a life-long priority. <more>
• A Survivor at Every Arena- Charlotte Bobcats Charlotte, NC. Lung Cancer Survivors Dana Wing and Kenneth Taft, as well as Dr. Edward Kim with Levine Cancer Center and a large supporting team will attend Saturday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Time Warner Cable Arena as a part of our Survivor at Every Arena initiative. <more>

• Gibbs Cancer Center Spartanburg, South Carolina. Team Draft will get a chance to tour the Gibb Cancer Center and speak with the lung cancer Nurse Navigators and top doctors regarding patient navigation and cancer care as well as new developments in research.<more>
