The Chris Draft Family Foundation presents Project Blind Side as part of their Discussion and a Movie series. A Discussion and a Movie is part of the Foundation's Character Team initiative, building high character leaders to solve today's problems.
  • Asthma Team: Asthma Families Visit RedskinsTraining Camp August 20, 2010 - AANMA--Mothers of Asthmatics helped recruit families to attend Washington Redskins Training Camp. They were able to watch practice and see Adam Carriker, Anthony Armstrong, Edwin Williams and Chris Draft tackle asthma on the final open practice of training camp.
  • Get Checked and Get Fit: U.S. Marines Fitness Challenge July 16, 2010 - Chris Draft and several of his Redskins teammates will be participating in the U.S. Marine Corps Fitness Challenge at Redskins Park. Draft and the players will help cheer on more than 100 potential USMC recruits as they complete fitness-related challenges.
  • Literacy Leaders: Book Reading at Deanwood Recreation Center July 15, 2010 - Chris Draft will read from his children's book "Do You Want to Play Catch?" and participate in a Let's Read Let's Move event with local Washington D.C. students. Draft will also donate two copies of "Do You Want to Play Catch?" to each D.C. public library. For more info on Deanwood, visit: http://www.dclibrary.org/deanwood
  • Character Team: Project Blind Side at The Arc in Washington D.C. July 15, 2010 - Students from the Washington D.C. Town Hall Education Arts & Recreation Center will see a private screening of The Blind Side and participate in a discussion of the character traits in the film afterward with Chris Draft.
