Associates of The Home Depot along with Chris Draft, linebacker for the St. Louis Rams, will refurbish the athletic field and facilities for the Imperial Youth Association. Volunteers will improve accessibility to the field for disabled children, rebuild benches and bleachers, paint, landscape and repair the concession stand.

The facilities were damaged during massive flooding earlier this year in Imperial, Mo. The Home Depot donated a $9,000 gift card to the Imperial Youth Association to help buy the materials for the project. The field is used for youth sports including baseball, softball and soccer as well as Windsor High School baseball and softball and B.A.D Beyond All Disabilities – tee ball level with special bases and equipment.

Chris Draft will attend the event from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and address volunteers and have giveaways. Draft also will donate 74 game tickets and Rams t-shirts to children at the event.
