Jeans and Jewels Event to Benefit 24 Hours of Booty

Jeans & Jewels is co-chaired by veteran 24 Hours of Booty rider and top fundraiser Sandy Morgart, of the Bank of America team. Sandy raised a record-breaking $50,000 in 2011 in part thanks to the support of the community at this event. Her father is a two-time lung cancer survivor, and she wants to raise awareness and funds by having a gala with live and silent auctions for all to enjoy. Jeans and Jewels featured a tribute to Keasha Rutledge Draft and her fight to Dance, Smile and Live.

Amanda Allen is an avid fundraiser, cancer fighter and beginner cyclist.  She is thrilled to be co-chairing Jeans and Jewels with Sandy in 2012.  In 2011, Amanda helped cast and coordinate the Jeans and Jewels fashion show and is grateful to be more involved this year.  This July, Amanda will be a first time participant in 24 Hours of Booty heading up a team from her company.

The committee shares a passion for cycling as well as supporting the battle against cancer. With the generosity of the community, volunteers, and two highly dedicated ladies at the helm, Jeans & Jewels is sure to be the best social (and feel good) event of the spring!
