Post Falls Wins Battle of the Prairie with Lakeland
Post Falls football coach Jeff Hinz was right where he wanted to be.
Hinz missed the last two games for health reasons but he returned to the sideline Friday in a wheelchair to watch his Trojans rout visiting Lakeland 62-7 in the annual Battle of the Prairie.
“For the last two weeks of either being on my couch or on a hospital bed, it’s great to be outside and to be here, it really is,” said Hinz, who has been fighting cancer for nearly two years. “Hopefully, next week I can make a few more practices and be more in tune with the game plan.”
