Asthma Advocate, Chris Draft launches National Public Service Announcement in partnership with the EPA 

ATLANTA, GA –  As the nation's leading advocate on Asthma, Chris Draft and the Chris Draft Family Foundation's Asthma Team continues to bring awareness to the community about an issue that affects so many lives. The Foundation's Asthma Team will join Mothers & Others for Clean Air at Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School, Thursday, October 13. 2011 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon where the EPA's National Asthma PSA will be unveiled and the school's 3rd graders will participate in an interactive and physical assembly that will include testing of the Air Quality and lung capacity and agility drills that promotes healthy physical activity. 

As someone who suffers from asthma and played with the condition for 13 years in the NFL, Chris has aligned himself along with his personal commitment to Asthma awareness with key organizations like Mothers & Others for Clean Air.   Mothers & Others for Clean Air is a partnership of leading public health, environmental and child advocacy organizations dedicated to improving air quality for all Georgians by educating the public about the health effects of air pollution and engaging people in both individual change and public policy advocacy that will improve air quality.

"The launch of the National PSA with the EPA in partnership with Mothers & Others for Clean Air, allows us to have another avenue to extend the Asthma Team's message across America. October is Children's Health Month and serves as the great background for TACKLING an issue that effects over 7 million children in America" says Draft.
