Rams Linebacker Will Host Black Caucus Event

Clayton — St. Louis Rams linebacker Chris Draft will host the "Continuing the Debate" event for the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus Foundation.

Actor Nate Parker, who played Henry Lowe in the movie "The Great Debaters" based on Wiley College's successful debate team of the 1930s, will visit St. Louis to support the foundation's youth fundraiser at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Ritz Carlton, 100 Carondelet Plaza, Clayton.

A VIP reception will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., followed by a brief program, a screening of the movie and a discussion with Parker. Tickets cost $150 and will benefit the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus Foundation.
