CDFF Founder Chris Draft spent the first part of this week in New York City, bringing Let’s Read. Let’s Move to 3 Boys & Girls Clubhouses in Queens, the Bronx and Brooklyn. 

Our founder’s plan was to make sure that each visit stressed reading, studying and exercise, he was very focused on showing the youth how important these things are to every day life. 

His week began in the Bronx at the Joel E. Smilow Clubhouse.  What a way to start the week – view the photos here!

On Tuesday, Chris visited the Variety Boys & Girls Club in Queens.  A fantastic day, thanks to NFL Play 60 and First Book! 

Tuesday he travelled to Brooklyn and visited youth at the Thomas S. Murphy Clubhouse.

Chris spent an amazing 2 days in New York and helped almost 500 youth learn the principles of  Let’s Read. Let’s Move. thanks to the NFL, First Book. The U.S. Department of Education, Department of Interior, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Agriculture, and Institute of Museums and Libraries.
