Brett first met Chris Draft while serving as the New Media Coordinator for the St. Louis Rams. Brett and Chris worked together on a number of initiatives, with Brett covering several Chris Draft Family Foundation events for the Rams official website.

Brett worked in a number of capacities with the St. Louis Rams, first starting as a media relations intern for the 2005 season. He transitioned into the Rams Community Outreach Department for the 2006 season, before becoming the New Media Coordinator in 2007.

Currently, Brett serves as the editor for a small internet-based company in St. Louis. He is a native of St. Louis and has a degree in print journalism from Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo.
