Foundation Helps White House "Get Up and Go!" for Easter

Easter is a time for family, and a time to celebrate. In 2011, Easter was a chance for more than 30,000 people to focus on getting healthy as part of the Easter Egg Roll on the White House Lawn in Washington D.C.

Founder and National PTA Ambassador Chris Draft joined President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House on Monday, April 25, where he particpiated in the Easter Egg Roll, helping families from all 50 states focus on getting healthy.

"It was a great opportunity to represent the Foundation at the White House and be a part of an amazing day of family engagement," Draft said. "Let's read, let's move and let's become a stronger family."

The theme of the 2011 Easter Egg Roll was "Get Up and Go," which was right in line with the First Lady's Let's Move initiative to create a healthier generation.
